About Our Client:

Addison Group is working with a valued client in the public sector who needs short-term support to manage a high volume of historical billing records. This is an opportunity to contribute to an essential project while developing your data and administrative skills in a supportive office environment.

Job Description:

The Data Backlog Assistant will play a key role in reviewing past service activity and ensuring that all eligible billing records are properly identified and coded. This is a contract position lasting 3 to 6 months, ideal for someone detail-oriented and self-motivated.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Complete an initial training period to learn internal systems and processes
  • Analyze prior billing logs to determine eligibility for submission
  • Cross-check activity against provided rules to verify billing status
  • Accurately review and process approximately 1,500–1,600 logs per month
  • Assign appropriate codes to each entry and maintain accurate records
  • Work independently while reporting progress to a designated supervisor

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience with data entry, billing review, or administrative support
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines and manage high-volume workloads
  • Strong communication and time management skills
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (required for compliance purposes)

Additional Details:

  • Contract length: 3–6 months
  • Schedule: Monday–Thursday 7:30 AM–5:00 PM, Friday 7:30 AM–11:30 AM
  • Work Setting: 100% onsite for 2–4 weeks of training, with potential for hybrid schedule afterward
  • Background check required (state, county, federal)
  • No drug screening required
