About the Role:
We are seeking a highly organized and motivated Paralegal Assistant to join our dynamic, mid-sized law firm in Tulsa. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of litigation experience in a law firm environment and a strong commitment to providing exceptional support to our paralegals and legal team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support paralegals with administrative and case management tasks.
- Schedule and coordinate calendar meetings, depositions, and independent medical examinations.
- Request, track, and follow up on medical records, FOIA, and HIPAA-related documents.
- Prepare transmittals, general correspondence, pleadings, and discovery documents.
- Assemble hearing, deposition, and trial notebooks.
- Manage document filing, service of documents, and witness subpoenas.
- Coordinate with experts and assist with assembling binders for cases.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a law firm (litigation experience required).
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat.
- Experience with PowerPoint and Sharefile is a plus.
- Exceptional proofreading and typing skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, multi-task effectively, and meet deadlines under pressure.
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and capable of working both independently and as part of a team.
- Professionalism and discretion in handling confidential information.
