Job Description:
The Credit Analyst will play a key role in supporting the underwriting team by reviewing loan files, conducting financial analyses, evaluating risk, and preparing financing packages for lending partners. This is an onsite role, Monday through Friday, offering excellent exposure to the financial services and aviation sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and validate loan application files for accuracy and completeness.
- Analyze personal and business financial statements, credit reports, and tax returns.
- Assess loan requests, identifying risk factors and making recommendations for approval, restructuring, or decline.
- Prepare credit memos, financial analysis worksheets, and complete loan packages.
- Respond to inquiries from lending partners and internal teams regarding loan files.
- Create and issue approval and decline letters; communicate terms to sales representatives and/or clients.
- Assist with collateral valuation using industry value guides.
- Update and maintain CRM records, documenting communications and transaction progress.
- Support pre-closing processes by collecting and reviewing required documentation.
- Help manage the loan pipeline, ensuring timely status updates to relevant stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- 2-5 years of experience in consumer finance, auto lending, banking, or mortgage underwriting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Team-oriented and flexible; able to manage multiple responsibilities.
- Proficiency with Salesforce CRM preferred (but not required).
- Must be able to work onsite Monday–Friday (no remote option).
Additional Details:
- Standard office hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
- Entry-level candidates encouraged to apply.
