Jay Houston cofounded Addison Group in 1999, alongside three other staffing professionals, starting as a Vice President focused on business development for the Chicago market. Jay has led several different groups, including Finance and Accounting Contract (FAC) and Consulting Services. In 2012, Jay was named President of the FAC business unit, where he increased market share exponentially through expansion in existing and new markets across the United States.

Jay took on his current role as President, Addison Group Talent Solutions, in 2024.

Before cofounding Addison Group, Jay began his career at AccountPros, where he was the top sales producer.

Mike Weast joined Addison Group in 2003 as a Business Development Manager in Chicago. In 2006, he moved to Houston to start the IT division, which marked Addison Group’s first organic office expansion. In 2013, he was named Regional Vice President (RVP) of the Texas region. During his time as RVP, Mike expanded his territory by opening and integrating offices in Texas, Oklahoma, and California. In 2019, he was named President of the IT & Digital Marketing practice.

Since becoming President of IT & Digital Marketing, Mike has increased market share by expanding in existing and brand-new markets across the United States. IT & Digital Marketing continues to grow exponentially and partners with Addison Group Consulting Services to provide a full service offering to clients.

Before joining Addison Group, Mike was a recruiter for Sapphire Technologies and Bank of America.

Heather Tarrillion joined Addison Group in 2006. With over 17 years of experience, Heather has held roles of increasing responsibility during her time at the company, including Recruiting Manager, Branch Manager, and Regional Vice President. She has achieved several notable accomplishments, including overseeing the opening of four new markets for Addison Group Talent Solutions and being named to Staffing Industry Analysts’ 40 Under 40 list in 2023.

Heather became President of Finance and Accounting, Contract (FAC) in 2024. In her role, Heather leads business and talent development for the FAC business unit in several Addison Group Talent Solutions markets.

Before joining Addison Group, Heather worked in account management for a national sales company.

Ed Kavanagh has been in the talent solutions industry since 1997 and co-founded the Administrative staffing business unit when he joined Addison Group in 2003. Since then, Ed has expanded the Administrative business unit geographically and by service offering with the addition of a Human Resources staffing practice. Both the HR & Administrative groups continue to experience tremendous growth under Ed’s leadership, with new branches opening across offices yearly.

Prior to joining Addison Group, Ed’s experience included launching a Chicago office for a large national firm and managing the Chicago operations for a local staffing agency. He also spent six years in the financial services industry where he was a top sales producer.

As a founding partner of Addison Group’s Administrative business unit, Kelly Gorham joined Addison Group in 2003 and has more than 25 years of experience in the staffing industry.

In her role as President, Healthcare, Kelly is responsible for leading and directing Addison Group’s Healthcare business unit, which has become one of the fastest-growing practices for the company. The Healthcare business unit also provides managed services and consulting in support of large projects, transformational change, and efforts to streamline workforce management by hospitals, medical clinics, labs, and other healthcare-related facilities.

Kelly began her career at a national staffing firm in Chicago and spent nine years in various roles and startups across the Midwest and Western US.

Phil Gaddis has been in the Finance and Accounting Search industry for over 20 years. He joined Addison Group in 2005 in a Vice President role to help build the Finance and Accounting business unit in Houston and other areas.

Phil became President of the Executive Search business unit in 2010, where he was charged with expanding the business into new markets. Under his direction, Addison Group’s Finance and Accounting Search business unit has expanded across the country.

Phil started his career in Houston, Texas, with a Boston-based company where he grew from an executive recruiter to Vice President, overseeing the opening of multiple offices over a nine-year span.
